Today my lesson learned was that through self discovery, I found that I need to get out of my comfort zone and do KPI's that I'm not comfortable with. By doing this I will not only help my team out but I will help myself by encouraging change and growth. Also, I feel that by journaling about my discovery, it will keep me motivated to do those KPI's that are out of my comfort zone. My biggest fear is that I will hit wimp junction, and not learn anything from hitting wimp junction. So my hope is that the pain of hitting wimp junction and not learning from it, is bigger that the pain of actually doing the difficult KPI's.
My lesson learned this week was the importance of actually creating a system and a process and following it. Like the graph showed, we are still going to have our ups and downs, but by following a defined process, we will go from being all over the board to a more constant outcome that has a more positive trend line. We can do this by making our KPI's measurable and managable. It is important to keep track of your own KPI's because this will allow you to own up to them and let them have a personal impact on what you are actually willing to do!
We empower people to own the future – business, family, community - impacting the world one business at a time. We build intimacy through conflict in an atmosphere of mutual respect. “The compassion of the strong is in waking people up to their blindness! For that you need to be a warrior”. Fernando Flores
We are a learning company; disciples of our processes and a healthy developing organism.
